Breakfast at the hotel. It’s time to head back to civilization today to continue with your South African experience. Transfer by road* back to Johannesburg, stopping to see the exterior of the Union Buildings in Pretoria, the official headquarters of the South African government.

Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Cape Town. This vibrant and picturesque city, located at the southwestern tip of South Africa, is known for its stunning natural beauty, diverse cultures, and rich history.

In the afternoon, take the Cableway and go up to Table Mountain to behold one of Africa’s most breathtaking views. Enjoy incredible sights across the city, coastline, and surrounding landscapes. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Cape Town.

You're headed for Oudtshoorn, one of the most important towns in the scenic Little Karoo Valley. Founded in 1847, the city lies between the Swartberg Mountains in the north and the Outeniqua Mountains in the south. Oudtshoorn is famous for its South African ostriches and is home to a number of ostrich farms. Arrive in the afternoon and, once settled at the hotel, get out and explore this charming town at your leisure. We recommend an optional excursion to a local Ostrich Farm to learn more about these charismatic and interesting birds!* Overnight stay in Oudtshoorn.

Home to around 25,000 ostriches, visit the hatchery and take a tour of the farm to learn more about these incredible land birds. Leave the sleepy town of Oudtshoorn behind as you head east, driving down the incredible Outeniqua Pass, which offers stunning views of the beautiful scenery of the Western Cape including deep gorges, ravines and high cliffs. You're headed for Knysna, nestled between the towering Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean and one of the most famous towns on the scenic Garden Route. Surrounded by pristine forests, beaches and lagoons, arrive in the late morning and get settled at the hotel. Take the ferry across Knysna Lagoon and continue by 4x4 up to the headland to take in the spectacular views. Explore untouched natural environments of wild beaches and coastal forests on a 2.2-kilometer walk, accompanied by the insights of a specialist guide. Stop for lunch at the outdoor restaurant under a canopy of milkwood trees.

Breakfast at the hotel. Leave Knysna this morning as you depart for Tsitsikamma National Park, famous for its ancient forests, tranquil rivers and pristine stretches of coastline. Part of the wider Garden Route National Park, Tsitsikamma includes a marine reserve that stretches 5-kilometers out to sea. Pay a visit to Storms River Mouth, where you can enjoy exceptional views of the sea, coastline and river mouth and stroll along the boardwalk to soak up the scenery. Cross Storms River on a 77-meter-long suspension bridge and visit another viewpoint before continuing your journey to Port Elizabeth. Arrive in the afternoon and, once settled, enjoy the remainder of the day to explore at your leisure. Port Elizabeth is a coastal city on the Eastern Cape, known for its creative culture and beautiful beaches. It's the perfect place to enjoy some downtime after completing the incredible Garden Route! Overnight stay in Port Elizabeth.

Breakfast at the hotel. It's time to bid farewell to the beautiful Cape coastline as you transfer to the airport to catch a flight back to Johannesburg. Arrive, get settled at the hotel and enjoy your final moments in South Africa at your leisure, perhaps shopping for souvenirs or making the most of the city's vibrant nightlife.
