Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on an exciting city tour of Kuala Lumpur. Take an iconic photo at the impressive Petronas Twin Towers, the city's most recognisable landmark. Discover the splendor of the King's Palace and Parliament House before delving into the city's glorious past at the National Museum.* Visit the National Monument at Lake Garden, the perfect spot for a photo and pass by the awe-inspiring National Mosque and the Railway station. Soak up the ambience of Independence Square and get to know the local craftspeople at the handicraft center. Return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. Enjoy a free day in Malaysia’s capital city, exploring the city on your own or joining our optional tour of the nearby  Batu Caves.* Kuala Lumpur is an enormous, fast-paced city with plenty to do. *Optional excursion to Batu Caves: Escape the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur for a fascinating complex of caves just 14 km away that houses multiple Hindu temples. Stop for pictures by the giant golden statue of Murguran, a Hindu god of war, at the caves’ entrance and spend the day climbing and spelunking in this ancient sacred site.

Breakfast at the hotel. It's time to leave Kuala Lumpur and continue on towards your next destination. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Bali, Indonesia. On arriving at Denpasar Airport, begin your journey with a transfer by car to the artistic village of Ubud. Surrounded by rainforest and rice paddies in the island’s central foothills, Ubud is known as a center of traditional Indonesian dance, craft, and sacred religious sites. More than three million travelers visit Ubud every year as its interior location offers an ideal base to explore all that Bali has to offer.

After checking into your hotel,* you are free to explore the village at your leisure. Take in your new surroundings with a stroll along the main boulevard, try some local cuisine, or just relax by the pool. Overnight stay in Ubud.

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your day with an included trip outside the town center to see Bali’s most famous rice paddy in Tegalalang, followed by a stop at Kintamani. This picturesque town situated in a mountainous region is known for its panoramic views over verdant valleys, a lake, and an active volcano. Unlike the typical heat and humidity Bali is known for, Kintamani is often noted for its fresh, cool air.

After coming back down into central Bali, visit Tirta Empul, a Hindu water temple with natural mineral springs. The Balinese believe that the waters have purifying properties and regularly come to bathe and pray to Vishnu, the god to whom the temple is dedicated. On the drive back to the hotel in Ubud, make one final stop at the stunning, 15-meter tall Tegenungan Waterfall. Overnight stay in Ubud.

Breakfast at the hotel. On this free day, take the morning to relax in your room or wander Ubud to your heart’s content. If you aren’t sure how to spend this day, we recommend an optional excursion to Besakih & Penglipuran,* a village famous for its continued preservation of traditional Balinese architecture and social structures. Overnight stay in Ubud.

*Optional excursion to Besakih: Visit the oldest temple in Bali before heading to Penglipuran, a village located in the Bangli Regency. This indigenous village offers a unique opportunity to see firsthand how people have lived for centuries, while also appreciating natural beauty among the rice paddies and the Goa Lawah Cave that you’ll see along the way. Note that lunch is included in the price of this optional activity.

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your included excursion with a visit to Mengwi and the Taman Ayun Temple, built in the early 17th century for a local prince. This UNESCO World Heritage site is known for its lovely gardens with exceptional water features, which you will have the chance to explore independently.

Then, meet the wild monkeys of Alas Kedaton–known locally as the holy monkey forest. Surrounded by the fragrant nutmeg trees, explore this stunning habitat that is home to “Flying Fox” fruit bats and several varieties of large primate.

End the day with another breathtaking landscape as the sun sets over the Tanah Lot Temple, built on a cliff overlooking the sea. Appreciate the sound of the crashing waves in this meditative setting before a short drive to the hotel in Benoa. Check-in and relax until the next day’s adventure. Overnight stay in Benoa.

Breakfast at the hotel. Take the morning to discover your new surroundings. Feel free to relax, exercise, or shop in town.

In the afternoon, meet for a drive to the Bukit Peninsula on the southern side of the island. This arid, rocky landscape offers something completely different from the wet, forested interior of the island. Discover the Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali’s most spiritually significant sites.* Enjoy the sunset with sweeping views over the temple, as locals perform the traditional Kecak Dance. This daily ritual is performed at sunset every day at Uluwatu and other Balinese temples, and is believed to cause the dancers to enter a trance-like state. On the way back to the hotel after sunset, stop for an included fresh and delicious dinner in Jimbaran.

*Please note that the Uluwatu Temple is known for its abundant population of wild Macaque monkeys. Please be careful with all belongings including hats, cameras, and phones as they are known to take items from visiting tourists.

Breakfast at the hotel. Bask in another free day by the sea in Benoa. Get to know this luxurious section of the island, which is known for its calm waters ideal for swimming. You can also opt to add a snorkeling tour.* 

*Optional Nusa Lembongan Snorkeling excursion: If you're unsure how to spend the day, set off at 8:00 in the morning for Nusa Lembongan. Observe marine wildlife and luxuriate in the warm, clear, tropical waters on this stunning islet off the coast of southern Bali. This full-day activity includes lunch.

Breakfast at the hotel. On your final full day in Bali, take advantage of another free day to take in any last-minute sightseeing. Recharge by the pool, buy souvenirs for loved ones back home, or reflect on everything you’ve seen and learned so far in Bali. If you aren’t sure how to spend your morning, join an optional cooking class* and learn the basics of fresh Balinese cuisine. You will also have the chance to enjoy a magical dinner on our night cruise.**

*Optional Balinese Cooking Class: Spend the first half of your day learning about Bali’s rich culinary culture. Begin with traditional Indonesian baked goods, and enjoy your homemade treats along with Balinese coffee or tea. For lunch, make use of the island’s world-famous spices to create and taste local food layered with complex flavors.

**Optional Sunset Dinner Cruise: Spend a magical night onboard a luxury boat. Enjoy refreshing cocktails and a buffet of international cuisine as the sun sets over Bali. While you sail the night away, a live cabaret show on board will keep you entertained.

Breakfast at the hotel. It’s time to end your journey though Bali and continue on towards your next adventure. Transfer to the Denpasar airport for a flight to Bangkok, Thailand. Touch down in the buzzing capital city and transfer to the hotel.* Bangkok is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, located in the heart of the country. It offers a variety of unique experiences, from its impressive temples and lively culture, to its exciting night markets and world-renowned cuisine. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to begin discovering this fascinating city. We recommend an optional excursion** to enjoy the night.

*If you arrive in the early hours between 00:00 and 11:30, you must add the optional early check-in to have access to your room immediately.

**Optional Evening Dinner & Cruise Excursion Along the Chao Phraya River: Transfer to the Chao Phraya River, or King of Thai rivers, to embark on board a modern river cruise with open-air terrace from where you will enjoy the panoramic night view of the illuminated city, while enjoying an international buffet dinner (drinks not included). The temples on the river banks, the skyscrapers and the live music accompanying the dinner will make you spend an unforgettable night in Bangkok. After the dinner and river tour, return to the pier and transfer to the hotel or head to Patpong night market to enjoy the nightlife and stalls.

Please note: You will only be able to board the cruise in time if your flight lands before 2PM. Passengers landing after 2PM won't be able to join this activity.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, get ready to discover the city and its temples on an exciting tour! Begin along the main avenues of Bangkok to reach the vibrant Chinatown neighborhood. Our first stop will be at Wat Traimit Temple or better known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha. It houses a 5-ton solid gold Buddha loaded with history as it remained hidden for centuries after being covered in plaster to prevent its destruction during the war.

Our next stop will be the Wat Pho Temple or Temple of the Reclining Buddha, one of the largest reclining Buddhas in the world at over 150 feet-long, where you’ll find a spectacular engraving of 108 images representing positive actions of Buddhism.

To finish the tour, head to a local precious stone factory where you will see a demonstration of how local craftspeople make their products.We recommend an optional excursion to discover the magnificent Grand Palace* or an exciting and entertaining optional excursion to visit the train market and floating market. Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Bangkok.

*Optional excursion to the Grand Palace: Discover the impressive Grand Palace complex, symbol of the city and former official residence of the King of Thailand between the 18th and mid-20th centuries. Considered one of the most beautiful in the world for its exquisite decoration, it mixes traditional Thai style with Renaissance influences. During the visit to the Grand Palace we will also visit Wat Phra Kaew or Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most important in Thailand.

Please note: For the Grand Palace visit you should wear long pants that cover the ankles and a long-sleeved shirt.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy the day at leisure to continue exploring Bangkok. Why not discover some of its many markets, where you can sample some of the famous street food dishes. We recommend an exciting and entertaining optional excursion to visit the train market and floating market.* Overnight stay in Bangkok.

*Optional Excursion to the Train Market and Floating Market: Travel by road to the town of Mae Klong where you’ll see a curious market installed on the train tracks. If time and luck permits, we will be able to see how the train crosses through the market and, in record time, the merchants collect all the products they have on display on the train tracks. From there, head to the Klong Damnersaduak floating market in Ratchaburi province, considered the most important in the country.

Arrive at a pier in the vicinity of the floating market. Take a motor boat ride through the canal area to reach the market itself, disembark, and enjoy free time to walk around, explore their products and enjoy the lively atmosphere. After the market visit, return to Bangkok and transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, prepare to discover the history surrounding the famous River Kwai and the bridge that crosses it, protagonists of books and movies for their impactful roles during World War II. Early in the morning, depart by bus from Bangkok and head to the Kanchanaburi province, where we encounter the River Kwai.

Pay a visit to the War Cemetery, where prisoners who lost their lives during the construction of the bridge lie buried, and the War Museum, where you can immerse yourself in the history and gain a deeper understanding of these events.

Take a boat ride on the River Kwai to the bridge, with free time to stroll across. From there, head to the unusual railway section known as "Hellfire Pass" that was built in record time by Allied POWs (mainly British and Australian) between 1942 and 1943. Lunch included at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Kanchanaburi.

Breakfast at the hotel. Our first visit of the day will be the city of Ayutthaya, ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam and archaeological center of the country. Upon arrival, visit its temples and remains of the most representative ancient fortifications. Ayutthaya, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is a magical place and a must-see for enthusiasts of history and ancient civilizations.

Next, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to the hotel, check-in and enjoy free time to enjoy the facilities. As the sun is setting, your guide will take you to the famous Ayutthaya market to taste traditional dishes (drinks not included). Overnight stay in Ayutthaya.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the exterior of the Royal Palace of Bang Pa In, located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, and walk through its beautiful gardens.

Next, transfer to the local port of Ayutthaya. Embark the boat and sail down the river on the Chao Phraya to Bangkok. During the cruise observe riverside villages, the Royal Barge Museum, the Royal Palace and the impressive Temple of the Dawn in Bangkok.

Enjoy an international buffet lunch included on the boat. Arrive, transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Bangkok.

Breakfast* at the hotel. Unfortunately, it’s time to end your journey through the Southeast Asia. At the specified time, meet for your transfer to the airport and get on your way back home to the US.
